Bircher Muesli

Prepare this delicious bircher overnight to wake up to a fuss-free, nutritious brekky.

1 cup rolled oats
1 cup untoasted muesli
1 cup wheat bran
1 1/2 cups boiling water
2 tablespoons Capilano honey
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 granny smith apples cored and grated
200 grams low fat vanilla yoghurt
1/3 cup almonds
1 tablespoon linseeds
extra Capilano honey and fresh fruit to serve

    Add oats, muesli and bran to a large bowl and stir.

    Pour over water, Capilano honey and lemon juice and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

    Remove bowl from fridge and add apples, yoghurt, almonds and linseeds. Stir thoroughly then cover with cling wrap and refrigerate overnight.

    Serve with fresh sliced fruit and an extra drizzle of Capilano lemon honey. This will keep covered in fridge for 5 days.
